It has been way too hot for me this week, making it hard to concentrate at work. So on the times when my mind wandered I came up with the following bits of prose.
Wisp
A Comment on Law
Twisted and warped by the greed of man,
Justice is nothing more than another commodity,
The rich can buy their so called innocence,
Thus making a mockery of our legal systems.
Storm Plea
This heat is dampening both mind and skin,
The very air it fights against my breathing,
So for my eyes of fire and nose of water,
Give me a storm to rage all summer!
